Tease De Resistance
Tease de Resistance isn’t just a burlesque troupe—it’s a family. A group of performers who lift each other up, take up space, and celebrate self-expression in all its forms.
They’re glamorous, cheeky, powerful, and playful, but most of all, they perform for themselves and for each other—not for perfection, but for the pure joy of it. Whether they’re dazzling in rhinestones or bringing a little chaos to the stage, every act is a testament to confidence, creativity, and community.

At ilLustrious Studios, we love surrounding ourselves with like-minded businesses, artists, and creatives who share our values of expression, inclusivity, and empowerment. We proudly collaborate with female and queer-led brands that champion the arts, performance, and individuality.
Our Current Collaborators
- Phreak & Phreak– A drag production company dedicated to showcasing the best in local and touring drag artists, bringing high-energy, campy, and unforgettable performances to the stage.
- Tease-Able (Empress) – A burlesque school for the disabled community, creating an empowering and inclusive space where all bodies can explore movement, sensuality, and performance.
- Rockstars and Royalty – A high-end fashion and costume design studio, known for its intricate, custom-made looks that help performers shine.
- Cantango – Nic studied tango at Estudio TanCuir in Buenos Aires, one of the very few Tango Queer schools in the world. She dances and teaches both roles, leader and follower, and brings with her a passion for tango, salsa and flamenco. She can’t wait to share her Argentinian tango secrets with you…Vamos!

We’re offering one full-term sponsorship for a queer cutie who wants to dance, belong, and be part of our ilLustrious world — but might not have the means right now.
You can nominate someone you adore, or apply for yourself. Whether it’s a first-timer, a regular who’s struggling, or someone who just deserves a bit of joy — we want to help make it happen.
